Hazel Henderson Discussion Series

A Virtual Convening with Global Reach

The Discussion Series will be primarily virtual, enabling broad participation from across the Center’s global network.

This format allows us to convene leading thinkers, practitioners, and emerging voices—without geographic constraint—while maintaining the depth and rigor that define the Center’s work.

Each session is designed as a focused, high-quality conversation rather than a one-directional presentation, encouraging engagement across perspectives and sectors.

Connected to the Life of the Center

A defining feature of the Discussion Series is its direct connection to the intellectual life of the Hazel Henderson Center.

Speakers and contributors will be drawn from:

  • Key convenings and gatherings hosted at the Center
(including private meetings, workshops, and strategic dialogues)

  • Participants in the Center’s Leadership Residency program
(bringing forward emerging ideas and lived experience from those actively engaged in advancing the field)

This structure ensures that the series reflects real-time thinking and collaboration, rather than isolated or abstract discussion.

What to Expect

Each session may include:

  • Short reflections from invited participants on a shared theme

  • Moderated conversations across disciplines and perspectives

  • Occasional featured talks or deep dives into a specific topic

  • Integration of archival insights from Hazel Henderson’s work, where relevant [Hazel Hend...es DRAFT 2 | Word]

The format draws on elements of the original lecture concept—curated voices, extended reflection, and dialogue—while evolving toward a more interactive and responsive model. [Hazel Hend...es DRAFT 2 | Word]

A Living Dialogue

The Hazel Henderson Discussion Series is more than a program—it is an evolving space for inquiry and connection.

By linking virtual audiences with the ideas emerging from the Center’s convenings and residencies, the series:

  • Creates continuity between in-person and virtual engagement

  • Amplifies voices and insights developed within the Center

  • Encourages cross-generational and cross-sector dialogue

  • Extends Hazel Henderson’s legacy as a public intellectual and convener
